Are you missing these deductions?

Short answer

Three deductions worth checking for Tax Time 2025-26: the fee you pay a registered tax agent to lodge your return, income protection premiums (not if the policy sits inside your super), and gifts to a registered charity from 1 July 2024, even under $2, with the receipt. For any work expense, the ATO's three tests are that you paid it and were not reimbursed, it relates to earning your income, and you have a record.
